Faculty of Law, Akwa Ibom State University The National Universities Commission (NUC) has officially granted approval for the immediate commencement of the Faculty of Law program at Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU). This significant development, effective from the 2025/2026 academic session, follows a successful resource verification visit conducted by a panel of NUC experts. The visit confirmed AKSU's readiness in terms of human and material resources required to run a globally competitive Law program. A letter dated November 10, 2025, confirmed the establishment of the full-time mode of the LL.B Law Programme to be run at the University's Main Campus.
