Professor Offiong Effanga Offiong, 12th substantive Vice-Chancellor (VC), University of Calabar. The suspense is finally over! The University of Calabar (UNICAL) community officially has a new leader. Following a rigorous and competitive interview process, the institution's 14th Governing Council has confirmed Professor Offiong Effanga Offiong as the 12th substantive Vice-Chancellor (VC) Designate of the University of Calabar. Professor Offiong was one of the top nominees considered for the highly coveted position, and his appointment marks the beginning of a new era for the entire campus. Students, staff, and the entire Malabite and Malabress community are keen to see the new vision, innovative changes, and developments the new administration under Prof. Offiong will bring to the institution.
