JAMB Releases 2026 Cut-Off Marks with Nursing at 150 and Polytechnics at 100

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 academic session admissions into Nigerian tertiary institutions. The announcement was made following the 2026 Admissions Policy Meeting held in Abuja, which was presided over by the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa. According to the new guidelines, the minimum JAMB cut-off mark for Colleges of Nursing across the country has been raised to 150. This represents an increase from the 140 mark used in the 2025 admission cycle, as part of efforts to strengthen standards in healthcare education. For Polytechnics , the minimum cut-off mark has been set at 100. JAMB warned that any institution found admitting students below this approved benchmark will face sanctions.
